We are so thankful for the many opportunities that we had to meet new people and catch up with old friends at The Stand Conference in Dallas. There was great interest and new churches and organizations that signed up as well. Now we are working to follow up with those who showed interest and help them get MissionMakr working for them.
People also had some excellent ideas that we have already started to incorporate into MissionMakr, like the ability to invite multiple people at once using their emails in the Follow the Trip Widget. It was really fun to see people’s eyes light up when they started to see all that MissionMakr does to help them maximize their communication and organization.
I am so thankful that David Butler, Wayside Chapel’s International Team Leader, came with me and was able to share how he has used and enjoyed MissionMakr. It gave a valuable additional perspective from a practitioner who leads teams every year.
Next up is a teaching trip to Rwanda and Uganda from October 28-November 10. Then, we are on to the International Conference on Missions (ICOM) in Kansas City from November 14-16. They are expecting over 5,000 people and it should be another great opportunity to connect with missions minded people.
In the midst of lot’s of hard work, I am reminded of my daily need to “Trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding; in all my ways submit to him, and he will make my paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
