Communicate and Accept Donations on MissionMakr.com!

The best way to communicate short-term missions in the local church combined with the ability to donate to a mission trip right from within MissionMakr … what do you think of that?

We think that’s pretty cool … a Donation Widget, and it’s right around the corner.

Communication and Donation?  All in one place?  Yep …

The Image Widget makes it easy to add logos, photos and more.

The Image Widget. How it works.

Seeing a photo from the mission field along with your trip logo can be just what people need to check out your trip and either sign up to go or or follow your trip. The Image Widget gives you (yes, you — not the graphics person) the tools to add photos and logos to your trip’s phases (Launch, GearUP, GO! and Tell ) and pages.

Drag and drop widgets to communicate short-term trips!

Getting all the information together for a short-term mission trip can be a daunting task.  Besides communicating the 5 W’s (who, what, when, where and why), you want it to look appealing.  After all, you want people to engage the information and sign up to go!

MissionMakr is all about drag and drop widgets … widgets that were created to help you communicate short-term trips.  Using them is easy!  Click “Add Widget” within a page and choose from one of the widgets in the picture above.  Click “Add” and viola’, your widget appears on the page, and it’s ready for you to add your content (a Word document, text, images, video, etc.).

We realize that widgets aren’t a new idea … they are used in lots of web-based programs, but these were made for missions.  They help you create your content, your way … and fast!

To see them in action, check out the video on missionmakr.com or to learn more about what each widget does by checking our features page on widgets.

Happy dragging and dropping … widgets!

Who did I just invite?!

If you’ve had the chance to try out MissionMakr and use our cool Invite Widget you might have been wondering … who have I sent invitations to? After sending many invitations it’s hard to remember who got one and on top of all that, the Invite Widget didn’t keep track for you.

Well, now it does! You can view a list of all your awesome invitations by clicking on the “View My Invites” link inside the widget. Once you click the link, you’ll be taken to a page where you’ll see all the invitations you’ve sent and even if they’ve accepted, declined or are just ignoring you. :) You can even print the page and it won’t come out of your printer looking like some abstract piece of art! Pretty cool.
