It seems like more and more people are returning home from short term mission trips with video footage they hope will “tell the story” of one of the most life changing experiences they’ve ever had. Unfortunately, many times the video footage they wind up with falls short of conveying the real heart and soul of their life changing experience.
Given the amazing quality of affordable equipment available, you don’t need to be a professional videographer to shoot decent quality video. However, there are some basic principles that need to be applied if you expect people to be engaged while watching the video footage you’ve shot.
